Projecteka Association coordinated a project funded by the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism that is called “Mission I want to know, I want to be” (BG05/984).
The project aims were to support democracy and human rights and to promote the active citizenship by the realization of information campaigns and training workshops attended by young people. This project also aimed at the development of young people’s entrepreneurship spirit and skills thus providing them with new professional opportunities. The target group of the project was introduced to the volunteering as a tool for young people to become more active in their local community and understand the importance of being a volunteer. Because to perform a voluntary service in order to help your society is one of the things that really can inspire young people today to understand fully their mission as part of a new Europe directed more than ever to the problems and needs of common people.
All these topics are connected also with the aim of the current project proposal to empower youth workers to use new entrepreneurial tools thus providing them with fresh ideas about their professional development.
